I think overall it's fun, so long as you don't expect to win the competitions often. The game lets you practice realistic interior design with hundreds of pattern/material options (although unlocking them can be tedious). My complaint lies with the competitive half of the game. It seems that regardless of how objectively coordinated your designs are, you'll regularly lose to poor designs. I think this has to do with players carelessly voting. Other than that, though, I find it enjoyable.

This game is super fun, but I have a few frustration issues with it. There are alot of decor options, but once you spend the 4.99 for a season pass, it seems your options for decor are less. Also when your rooms are submitted for voting it seems like it is very hard to place on the podium, the voting system is not good. I could place 9th and the person who places 1st could have the almost exact same decor. Fix the voting system and it would help.
